About
Who we are
Hayfields Primary School was first opened in the year 2014. Construction on the school started in the year 2012. The reason behind opening the school was a need from the community of Hayfields and surrounding areas, of not having a school close by for their children. The first principal of the school, Olwyn Niemand started with a team of 11 teachers and four volunteers. She and her staff dealt with the first intake of 350 learners and several parents querying for admission.
